Job Description

ExpensePoint, a leading expense management company, is seeking a process-oriented, dynamic, and experienced Customer Onboarding Specialist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our customers through the Onboarding process. You will be a subject matter expert for ExpensePoint. This involves helping to teach, onboard, and support our customers. This position requires a high level of client interaction via calls and online meetings and prompt response to emails.

The right person for this job enjoys working with clients, has a technical aptitude for software as a service (SaaS), has a basic accounting understanding, has a strong client focus, exhibits the right communication skills, and can consult with clients on how to use our product to improve their daily workflow.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical point of contact for clients for the Onboarding of ExpensePoint.
  • Responsible for product training, Onboarding, and support for our clients.
  • Perform high-level client interaction via calls and online Teams meetings, responding to emails promptly.
  • Meeting with clients following the sale of software packages to collect data and other information required to customize software systems.
  • Educating clients on how to use purchased software systems and customized system features.
  • Keep technical documentation in CRM and Onboarding guides up to date.
  • Designer and facilitator of personalized product training sessions for clients.
  • Responsible for product onboarding processes, matching clients’ needs to our products and services.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Experience working with customer onboarding or support at a SaaS company.
  • Post-secondary college certificate or University degree or equal work experience.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft 365 applications. 
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. 
  • Results and detail-oriented.

  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Wrike, HubSpot or other CRM programs, and Teams is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary: from $50,000

Schedule: 

  • Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work outside regular office hours to accommodate our Global clients’ time zone.

  • Winnipeg, MB R3A 1K7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
