How does ExpensePoint's expense management software work with Xero?

ExpensePoint connects to Xero through a secure API-based integration using Xero's Accounting and Projects APIs. Once approved in ExpensePoint, expense reports are sent to Xero with vendor, GL account, tax code, and tracking category information already populated. Data is clean, ready for review and payment in your Purchases workflow. 

Does ExpensePoint sync Xero tracking categories, tax codes, and GL accounts?

Yes. ExpensePoint pulls your chart of accounts, tax codes, and tracking categories from Xero so you can map expense categories, departments, and cost centres to match your existing structure.

Can ExpensePoint handle Xero Projects?

ExpensePoint sends all standard bill data to Xero, including amounts, descriptions, tax, GL accounts, and tracking categories. Project assignment is completed inside Xero after the bill is created.   

Can ExpensePoint support global or multi-entity organizations using Xero?

Do we need IT to set up the integration?
